Reaching Higher

Reaching Higher Tagged with:

A runner stands at the runner’s blocks waiting for the signal to take off.  When the runner hears the signal, they find their stride, pace, and their movements fall into a rhythmic cadence.  Their legs carry them a particular distance.  They have developed and refined their skill through repetition. When they reach the finish line, they have likely achieved a faster time, improved a specific skill, or accomplished a personal goal.

The Power of Setting Goals

The Power of Setting Goals Tagged with:

A little over a year ago I set a goal. I started by saying it to myself with a silent smile. A few weeks later, I started sharing it with my friends. Teach and Be Taught

Teach and Be Taught Tagged with:

I wish everyone in life the gift of an adviser, teacher, or mentor that can guide us to reach our goals and go beyond our own limits. One of John Wooden’s favorite lines, “There is nothing you know that you haven’t learned from someone else.  It is the greatest inheritance you can give to others. Any Celebrity Apprentice fans?  On Sunday night’s episode Gary Busey shocked everyone by winning the second challenge of this season and spelled out his victory by stating the meaning behind the word team: “T- is for Together, E-Is for Everyone, A-id for Achieves, and M-More!”   As hard it may be to understand the thought process of Gary at times, he got this point right on!  The meaning behind the acronym of the word “team” truly speaks volumes.  Understanding the significance and strength from working as a “team” holds true and this definition is most often heard in the success of business franchises, private organizations, and sports teams.  It also holds true in the world of autism.

I believe our team of trainers understands the responsibilities of an all-inclusive fitness facility when I observe how they prepare and personalize every training session. Labels are not something we focus on. Instead, we strive to realize our purpose in quality personal service, in fitness and wellness. Information is gathered from the client and anyone involved so that to formulate a plan to achieve short and long term fitness goals.

They are YOUR minutes. Use them to meet your personal life goals. Tagged with:

When you get right down to it, our lives are made up only of the time we spend here on Earth. The minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years of our lives are made up of what we did during the time we were given. This time is limited. It passes rapidly. As far as we know it may not be repeated or done over.
