The off-season is where players can develop as individual athletes. The season is time for bringing the pieces together. This process takes a lot of time, effort, and dedication. Committing to a team and team-building is a daunting task, but that commitment doesn’t end with the end of the season.
In fact, the test of that commitment truly starts in the off-season. If you want your team to be successful, getting better during the off-season is the best thing you can do. The more you can develop your individual skills during the off-season, the more your can bring to your team in season.
After a few weeks off, I prepare to start my offseason workouts. I’ll keep you posted on what I’m doing and the results I’m receiving from these workouts.
