Are you fired up about advocacy? Interested in Autism? Passionate about disability rights? Desire to increase awareness? Compelled by stories of our individual, yet so often universal, human experiences? In need of weekend plans? If so, read on….

Wretches & Jabberers is documentary film that tells the story of “two men with autism [who] embark on a global quest to change attitudes about disability and intelligence. Determined to put a new face on autism, Tracy Thresher, 42, and Larry Bissonnette, 52, travel to Sri Lanka, Japan and Finland. At each stop, they dissect public attitudes about autism and issue a hopeful challenge to reconsider competency and the future.”

I am so excited to see this movie on Saturday and wanted to make sure that everyone was made aware of it! (Note: It is showing around the country at AMC theaters on different days. Check here to see when it is playing in a theater near you.)
