The ARC Survey for Military Families

The researchers at ARC have found that military families with a family member who has a disability can experience challenges in finding and accessing programs, services and supports in the communities where they serve in the US and around the world.  The survey is specifically for families who have a member with an Intellectual Disability or diagnosis of Autism or other Developmental Disability.

ARC is trying to use an online survey to find out what families report about finding services and meeting the needs of the family while in service to America.

They will use the answers to help inform disability organizations and the government on needs of families for disability supports.

You can find out more, or take this survey at the following web address: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/TheArcFinds2010forMilitaryFamilies

Who is ARC?

ARC says, “We are the largest national community-based organization advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.  We encompass all ages and all spectrums from autism, Down syndrome, Fragile X and various other developmental disabilities.”
